Whether to request a clean start on the initial connect (§3.1.2.4).

This only affects the first CONNECT of a client instance; automatic reconnects always resume the session (Clean Start = 0).

Variants

Auto

Clean start unless persistence is configured on the ClientBuilder.

Always

Always request a clean start on the initial connect.

Never

Never request a clean start: resume the broker-side session if one exists.
