RestoredSubscription

Struct RestoredSubscription

pub struct RestoredSubscription {
    pub options: SubscriptionOptions,
    pub subscription_id: Option<u32>,
}
Expand description

The subscription a rejected UNSUBACK reverts to.

Carried by FilterState::Unsubscribing when the filter was Subscribed before the UNSUBSCRIBE, so a non-confirming reason code (rc >= 0x80) can restore it verbatim. Holds the only subscription data an unsubscribing entry needs; an entry that was never subscribed carries none.

Fields§

§options: SubscriptionOptions

Subscription options to restore (QoS, no-local, retain handling).

§subscription_id: Option<u32>

Subscription identifier (§3.8.2.1.2) to restore, if any.

Implementations§

§

impl RestoredSubscription

pub(crate) const fn from_state(state: FilterState) -> Option<Self>

The subscription to restore if an UNSUBSCRIBE of a filter currently in state is rejected. Some only when the filter is confirmed Subscribed, since only then is there a prior subscription to revert to; any other state drops the entry on rejection.
